Ever had withdrawals when you are travelling and you need to play that one session of DOTA 2 or Battlefield? Well, your prayers may have been answered as there’s a hotel in Taiwan made just for gamers.
The hotel in Taiwan has installed gaming rigs in their rooms in case you want to play your favourite game while you are away on a vacation or travelling for work. If you are a PC gamer, the hotel provides two rigs with i5-7400 processors and has a GTX 1080 Ti GPU installed. The rigs are not your run of the mill PCs as it has at least 16GB of RAM as well.
If you are travelling with your buddy, the rooms have DXRacer’s gaming chairs that are right next to each other so that you can coordinate your attacks in DOTA 2. The room costs INR 6,50 per night and you can even play at an hourly rate if you are not a hotel guest. Gamers can pay INR 775 per hour to play their favourite games.
If you want to be a little competitive and test your skills with other players/guests, there’s a separate gaming area in the lobby where you can either take part in the competition or watch eSports on a 46” TV screen.
The hotel is called “iHotel” and is located in the Taiyuan district. The hotel has a five-star luxury rating, which means it comes with excellent service, staff and perks. Recently YouTuber Joeman visited the hotel and gave his viewers a virtual tour which showed all of his experiences at the hotel.
If you are a gamer and want the ultimate experience for your next vacation, why not check out this hotel and let us know how your beat fellow players in DOTA? Until then, you can have a look at Joeman’s virtual tour. None of it’s in English, but it’s enough to give you a better idea of what the place is actually like.
